I made my site in photoshop and then I sliced it and imported it into NVu. When I sliced it, it makes it into a table. Therefore, each slice can be used as a link to another page. I was inspired by another site but made it my own by adding images that show my interests/my credentials. I am planning on using this site not only for this class but also for my online portfolio for later use. Here's the link back to my homepage.

Marketing Rolling Backpacks

Here's a great idea for a business in Utah County--an exclusive rolling backpack store that sells all the latest and greatest rolling backpacks. For those of you who do not frequent BYU campus, you may not realize how popular the bags are. I think the business would do quite well. I have also had the suggestion made that I could have an add-on sale by offering a special price on BYU gear and clothing. Although I will never be caught dead with a rolling backpack, I would have no problem marketing to an elite group of BYU Zoobies.

Me and Parker

Here's a picture of me and Parker. I don't like to run to work out but I thought the whole point of running was to get a good run--not take short cuts. Maybe she just shouldn't have been running. If I see her again, I think I will let her know that maybe aerobics would be a better option for her.

Movie Theory

Have you ever gone into a movie theater and you get totally excited because you're the only one there? The lights dim and the anticipation is building because you are going to have your own private screening. Just then someone else enters the theater. This shouldn't be a problem--but it is. The problem lies in the second person's choice of seating. Although the entire theater is empty, somehow they manage to sit either right behind you, directly in front, or on either side--thus making the movie experience awkward. I have consulted some friends and most of them agree with me that it's awkward although I have had the occasional friend who justifies the choice of seating because the first person probably has the best spot in the house and therefore it is coveted. Hmmm....I just know that it happens every time.
